Solaria Inlay For Our Decking

Our outdoor deck will be a Composite (recycled wood and plastic) from a company like Trek or Fiberon (WeatherBest). Aside from their obvious environmentally friendly attributes, composite decking does not warp, splinter, rot, stain, or fade and requires far less upkeep than a pressure treated hardwood.

Here's an idea for our deck:

What about creating an inlay design (similar to the one in the picture below) that portrays the theme of our development: Solaria. Like a radiating sun or some other cool solar motif. Inlays around the wrap around deck would be cool as would an inlay on the front stoop or even engraved on the tile as you walk in the house. Lauren, start sketching...
